The Redeemed Christian Church of God
Introduction
The RYF is the youth arm of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). This consists of young people from their teen age to early adulthood.
RCCG Open Heavens, Dublin have been at the forefront of making the youth ministry a success. This has been motivated by the special love that our father in the Lord (Pastor Adekunle Daniel) has for the youths. He has the belief that for our future to be secured, we must invest in the next generation which the youths represent.
Based on this, he approved a separate place of worship for the youths and appointed a Youth Pastor for them. Since then, things have not remained the same because the youth church has been growing stronger and stronger.
Function
The youth’s church functions just like the main church because it is basically an integral part of the main church.
We have officers in various offices as listed below:

Activities
The youths church is a place for youths to come together to worship God, interact and learn how to be good citizens under an atmosphere that is Godly, conducive and relevant to them. Our activities include, but not limited to the following:
• Singing
• Dancing
• Acting drama
• Studying the Bible (Sunday School)
• Listening to the word of God
• Organising musical concerts
• Listening to music
• Watching movies
• Talent hunt competitions (quiz, debate, music, dance, poetry, football, volley ball, basket ball, etc)
• Funny competitions (eating, drinking, etc)
• Outings (youth evangelism, retreats, seminars, etc)
• Honouring invitations to attend or present ministrations in programmes.
For the purpose of competitions, we have four competitive squads, namely Red (Love), Blue (Peace), Green (Life) and Yellow (Sunshine). Each squad has a squad commander and deputy commander as stated below:

Meeting Days/Time:
The RYF meet only on Sundays from 10:00am to 12:00pm after which rehearsals of various groups will commence till the end of the main church service-about 1:00pm.
